Who provides the service

These terms govern the Cool Girl Wears service provided by Sienna Louise Espie, trading as COOL GIRL WEARS, ABN 63 197 945 813, P.O. Box 487, Rye VIC 3941, Australia (we, us or CGW). Contact: hello@coolgirlwears.app.

Please read these terms and our Privacy Policy before creating an account. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.

The free app

Cool Girl Wears brings together fashion editorial and discovery through the Weekly Edit, Discover, Shop the Feed and your Saved articles and posts. You need a free account to use the app and keep your saved content connected to you. Free access does not require any purchase, and creating an account never authorises a charge.

Editorial content and links can change. Saving an article or post keeps a reference in your account; it does not guarantee that third-party material, products, prices or stock will remain available.

Optional subscription, where offered

The following applies only if and when an optional subscription (Outfits & Style Inspo) is offered in the app. It is not offered in the current release.

Where offered, Outfits & Style Inspo is a monthly auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple’s App Store. It gives subscribers one weekly issue of Outfit Ideas and Style Inspo, access to the published issue archive, saving and shoppable editorial links. It is editorial content, not individual styling advice, a wardrobe tool or an AI stylist. Paying for the subscription does not pay for any clothing or products shown.

Before you confirm a purchase, the App Store purchase screen shows what is included, the price in your local currency, the billing period and the renewal terms. The price shown for your storefront applies. An eligible customer may be offered an introductory free trial; eligibility and the actual offer are confirmed by Apple and shown before purchase. Unless cancelled in time, a trial converts to the paid subscription, and the subscription renews automatically until cancelled.

Manage or cancel in your Apple subscriptions at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, or on iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before a trial or billing period ends to avoid the next charge. Cancellation stops future renewal; it is not an automatic refund, and access normally continues to the end of the paid period. If you have already purchased, use Restore Purchases while signed into the same Apple Account and the CGW account connected to the purchase, and contact support rather than buying again.

For an App Store charge, request a refund through Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ and contact CGW for service or access problems. Nothing in this section removes any cancellation, withdrawal, refund or consumer right that applies to you by law.

Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create a CGW account. If you are 16 or 17, local law may require a parent or guardian’s permission before you use the service, and you confirm that any required permission has been obtained.

Use an email address you control and keep your verification codes and account access secure. Do not share codes or use another person’s account. If you think someone else has accessed your account, let us know.

Provide accurate information where the app reasonably requires it. Use a display name and profile image that you have the right to use and that do not impersonate someone else. Do not include sensitive information in free-text style or brand fields.

Using the app fairly

You may use the app for your personal, lawful purposes. You must not:

• try to access another person’s account or private information;
• interfere with security, overload the service or exploit a defect;
• upload unlawful, infringing or harmful material, including through a profile image or support request;
• copy, republish, sell or commercially exploit content unless you have permission or the law allows it;
• misrepresent your relationship with CGW, a featured person or a brand.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law gives you to use material without permission.

Content and your information

Content in the app may belong to CGW, creators, publishers, photographers or other rights holders. An attribution or link does not transfer ownership or grant republication rights. We grant only the limited permission needed to use the service; we do not claim ownership of every featured image, brand or story.

You keep any rights you hold in your profile image and other material you provide. You give us a limited permission to host, process and display that material as needed to operate your account and respond to your requests. This is not permission to use your private profile photo in advertising; any broader use needs a separate lawful basis and your permission where required.

Shopping and third-party services

Product and brand links take you to an external seller or service. That seller handles its own checkout, payments, delivery, returns and customer support. Before buying, check the seller’s price, currency, availability, delivery terms and product information. Displayed information may change before you reach checkout.

Fashion recommendations are editorial guidance, not a guarantee of fit, quality or suitability. For help with an order, contact the relevant retailer. If a CGW link or statement is wrong, let us know so we can investigate.

This section does not exclude any responsibility CGW has under applicable law for its own conduct or representations, or remove your rights against a seller.

Commercial relationships

Where content is advertising, sponsored, gifted or connected to an affiliate arrangement, we disclose the relationship where you encounter that content. A general statement in these terms is not a substitute for a disclosure on the relevant post or link.

Changes, availability and account restrictions

We may improve the service and will give reasonable notice of material changes or closure where practicable and required by law. Changes to these terms apply prospectively, with fresh agreement where required. A change will not remove accrued consumer rights.

We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, unlawful activity or a material breach of these terms. Our response will be proportionate. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and give you a way to contact us about a mistake. Urgent security or legal action may require immediate restriction.

Closing your account

You can start permanent account deletion from Profile in the app. Follow the verification and confirmation steps. Deleting the app does not delete the account. Our Privacy Policy and Support and Account Deletion page explain what is removed, which limited records are retained and how backups are handled.

Where a subscription is offered, deleting your CGW account, signing out or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel Apple subscription billing. Cancel separately through Apple subscriptions if you do not want renewal. Deletion does not reverse an Apple or external-retailer purchase.

Consumer rights and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, cancellation or withdrawal right, refund, remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law and mandatory protections in the country where you live.

We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that all third-party information is always current. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by third-party sellers, publishers or services, or by your use of the service contrary to these terms. Any limitation of our responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not affect the consumer rights above.

Apple licence

For an app obtained from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement governs the app licence: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These terms supplement that licence and Apple’s requirements. Apple is not the operator of the CGW service and is not responsible for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If you live outside Australia, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections and the right to bring a claim in a competent court where you live.
